Adobe’s Behance is set to begin supporting Solana NFTs from March 2022, and this integration promises to redefine how Behance creators interact with NFTs.

Behance is a creative showcase platform under Adobe, and it has been the go-to platform for creatives worldwide for a considerable amount of time. It has become one of the most prosperous creative networks for discovering and showcasing creations. Connect your Wallet to Behance to Showcase Solana NFTs

On Monday, 7 March 2022, Behance announced that users can now showcase Solana (SOL) NFTs on their profiles. As a user, all you need to do is connect your Phantom Wallet to your Behance accounts to showcase Solana NFTs on your Behance profile.

Phantom is a Solana wallet, and it was created with decentralized finance in mind; Phantom also does expertly with DeFi and NFT applications. The ability to showcase Solana NFTs is a welcome development, but it isn’t the first of its kind. Behance creators already have the ability to display Ethereum NFTs on their profiles, and adding Solana to the mix is a natural progression.

Behance has had an impressive NFT strategy so far, and users have been able to connect crypto wallets and NFTs to Behance profiles since October 2021, and it also partnered with NFT marketplaces like SuperRare, OpenSea, Rarible, and KnownOrigins as part of its tactics to help protect digital creators.

QuickNode and Behance

Adobe via Behance partnered with QuickNode, a Web3 infrastructure platform based in Miami, USA. The partnership aims for QuickNode to make it easier for Adobe and Behance to make their Solana debut with minimal efforts.

In simple terms, QuickNode permits Adobe to gain “temporary” access to the Solana blockchain, this is an excellent alternative to Adobe building out its node, maintaining a node is also not ideal for Adobe at this point, and that’s why they have partnered with QuickNode to rent access to the Solana blockchain.

Choosing QuickNode was an evident and straightforward decision for Adobe as QuickNode claims to be the top provider of Solana node service, powering more than half of the entire Solana ecosystem.

As time goes on, Solana addresses will be added to the Photoshop content credentials tool to help mitigate NFT works being stolen or used without prior authorization.
